Gauge Portrait

My sister says I should call this "Death by Chocolate". I can't even remember why, something to do with him being so handsome and having dark hair. Lolz.
This is my original character Garrett "Gauge" Foster from my weird west/fantasy novel series 'Dark Horizon' (WT).
I draw him WAY to much and yet not enough but I finally think I've settled on this look, with these features, to be his final appearance.
Obviously, a story allows readers to picture somebody any way they durn please (within the limits of the author's description, anyway) but I just like having pictures of my characters because . . . well, BECAUSE!!
Reference was used. A Spanish model by the name of Juan Garcia. I'd post a link to the pic but I can't remember where I got it. Look up the name. You'll see.
Gauge is not Spanish. He's Trinsauan. Which is the ethnicity for a place that doesn't exist because he doesn't exist in this world. That's all there is to it.
I have really, SERIOUSLY got to draw Cora more. I have her portrait too, but I'm still fixing some stuff about it, all while trying to write this stupid story and vainly hope that one day it will get published.
I'm also working on character/story bios so the 2.5 people who follow me and are curious about my written works can understand these characters and where they come from and the story around them.
